Predicted Hull City team for Blackburn Rovers with Charlie Hughes and Mason Burstow calls made
Hull City caretaker boss Andy Dawson must make changes to his Tigers side if they're to halt a run of five straight defeats against Blackburn Rovers this weekend, in front of incoming new head coach Ruben Selles.
Last Saturday's 3-1 reverse at Middlesbrough left City without a win in their last 10 games and only off the bottom of the table on goal difference, in what was their first game since the sacking of Tim Walter.
With only a couple of days to prepare, Dawson opted against making wholesale changes to the side and instead made just the two with Ryan Longman dropping to the bench and Abdus Omur coming in. Charlie Hughes was suspended, having picked up five bookings with his place going to the returning Sean McLoughlin.

Hughes will be back for the visit of Rovers on Saturday, while Mason Burstow's first goal for the Tigers at the Riverside Stadium will have him pushing for a start. Joao Pedro has struggled to make an impact and Burstow would be able to stretch the game and give City a greater threat in behind and in the press.
Another problem on Teesside was Cody Drameh, who was torn to pieces by the impressive Liverpool loanee Ben Doak before eventually going off injured in the second half. Though Drameh had performed well prior to Saturday, having a right-back perform at left-back is far from ideal, so Ryan Giles must surely come back into contention on the left side.
Kasey Palmer showed his capability operating in his more favoured number 10 role at Boro, so it would be a surprise if he didn't keep his place in the starting XI.
City's predicted starting XI: Pandur, Giles, Hughes, Jones, Coyle (c), Simons, Slater, Longman, Palmer, Kamara, Burstow.
