Daniel Farke could make a number of changes for Leeds United's home clash with Norwich City tomorrow night with one eye on Monday’s important trip to Burnley.

Farke said he was pleased with how Illan Meslier fared in Sunday’s win over Sheffield Wednesday and it seems he will not be getting dropped any time soon. There might also be no change in front of him.

Norwich attacker Borja Sainz, who has 16 goals, is currently serving a six-match ban for admitting to spitting at Sunderland defender Chris Mepham last month, so misses the visit to Elland Road.

Sainz has scored 12 more goals than any other Norwich teammate, with his omission weakening the visiting team's potency. Nevertheless, Farke has said he was impressed with his full-backs against Wednesday and so Jayden Bogle and Sam Byram could retain their places.

Meanwhile, Ethan Ampadu could start the match next to Joe Rodon at centre-back with Pascal Struijk not due back from his hamstring issue for another few weeks. The manager said Max Wober and Junior Firpo are "not far away" from being able to start a game but threw caution over using them in his line-up too soon.

Farke has outlined how highly he values Ethan Ampadu’s work in midfield but may be tempted to stick with Joe Rothwell and Ao Tanaka as a pair given their encouraging performance against Wednesday on Sunday.

Largie Ramazani has netted two goals in as many games and might be rewarded with a second Championship start since returning from injury in November. Meanwhile, the in-form Manor Solomon is a major doubt having felt an issue with his hamstring since Sunday. So Ramazani could be fielded on the left with Daniel James on the right.

Brenden Aaronson faces a late fitness test but with Burnley on Monday, he might not be risked from the start. And with Solomon also likely out, Wilfried Gnonto - who has started just one of the past six Championship games - might could act as the number 10.

Joel Piroe will likely lead the line again but could be swapped for Mateo Joseph later on if the game is sealed.

Predicted Leeds United XI : Meslier; Bogle, Ampadu, Rodon, Byram; Tanaka, Rothwell; James, Gnonto, Ramazani; Piroe.
