Premier League Darts 2025 line-up confirmed as Gerwyn Price decision made
Welsh arrow-smith Gerwyn Price has been included in the 2025 Premier League Darts line-up for the eighth successive year. 'The Iceman' enjoyed a resurgence at the World Championship, reaching the quarter-final at Alexandra Palace before losing out to Chris Dobey.
Price, 39, beat Keane Barry, Joe Cullen and fellow Welshman Jonny Clayton en route to the last eight before he was beaten 5-3 against Dobey on New Year's Day. It was a much-needed return to form for the Cardiff-born darts star, who had dropped down to world no.10 after a disappointing couple of years.
But Price has still done enough to book his place in the Premier League. He is included as part of the eight-man line-up for the 17-week event, which is due to start at The SSE Arena, Belfast on Thursday, February 6 and end at The O2, London on Thursday, May 29. Price's home event is at the Utilita Arena, Cardiff on Thursday, March 20.

Also set to take part in the Premier League is Luke Littler. The 17-year-old was crowned world champion after beating Michael van Gerwen in the final at Ally Pally on Friday.
Luke Humphries, Van Gerwen and Rob Cross - in the world's top-four alongside Littler - are also included in the invitational tournament, as is Stephen Bunting, Chris Dobey and Nathan Aspinall who make up the eight-man line-up for the Premier League.
As for Price, he admitted last week that he has been suffering with a 'nightmare' health issue. His exit from the World Championship came as he revealed he had been dealing with an ear problem that was "doing his head in" as he took to the oche.
While the issue has persisted for years, he added that his busy schedule means he has been unable to get help. "It feels like I have been in a swimming pool of water," he told reporters. It’s frustrating. I pop my ears and it feels fine. It’s a nightmare, It's doing my head in. I’ve been taking antibiotics for a week and they are not working.
"It’s hard work. I have had this problem for the last six, seven, eight years, I am used to it now," he added. "I’m supposed to see an ear, throat and nose specialist, but it’s too busy, isn’t it? I miss so many appointments with the ENT. You end up having a tournament here and there. I end up playing darts."
