Superstar Luke Littler heads an all-star cast into the 2025 BetMGM Premier League.

The youngest-ever PDC World champion will be joined by seven top operators for a 17-week spectacular which kicks off in Belfast on February 6 before heading straight to Glasgow. Tournament chiefs have confirmed the full line-up after making their four picks to join Littler, Luke Humphries, Michael Van Gerwen and Rob Cross, who qualified automatically as the top four in the PDC Order of Merit.

Stephen Bunting, Gerwyn Price, Chris Dobey and Nathan Aspinall have been allocated the remaining quartet of slots to complete the eight-man line-up as Littler defends his Premier League title. It’s the first time in 15 years no Scots have made the league, with Gary Anderson and Peter Wright left disappointed.

Luke Humphries

Deposed as World Champion, he remains World No.1 and will have added determination and desire after losing his crown at Ally Pally. Humphries is certain to have a big say each week in the event and a key figure.

Luke Littler

The newly-crowned champion of the world will be defending the title he collected in thrilling fashion at the end of last year’s Premier League. The 17-year-old took to the schedule with ease and is going to be the man to beat again.

Michael Van Gerwen

The Green Machine gave signs at the Ally Pally that he is getting back to his best form with a run to the Final. Van Gerwen has been a central figure over the past 15 years and has won the Premier League on a staggering seven occasions.

Rob Cross

The former world champion suffered a big disappointment at the World losing in his very first match to Scott Williams. Nonetheless, the Londoner displayed strong form for the majority of the 2024 season and will be a regular weekly contender for the prize.

Stephen Bunting

Bunting was desperate for another crack at the Premier League and has been rewarded for his run to the semi-finals at the Worlds with a pick. The Bullet is up to World No.5 and will be a huge addition to the set-up with mass fan backing as he returns for first time since 2015.

Gerwyn Price

The Iceman had originally given off the signals that he did not wish to be part of the event in 2025 due to the travelling and rigours, but found his fires and enthusiasm again at the back end of last year and made the quarter-finals at Ally Pally. Runner-up in 2023.

Chris Dobey

Bedlington’s finest was rock-solid on the floor in 2024 as he was seeded No.1 for The Players Championship and reached the semi-finals at Ally Pally to boost his bid. The Geordie is a strong performer who can deliver having featured in the event two years ago.

Nathan Aspinall

Popular Aspinall has recovered from problems with injuries to start back on an upward curve and this selection will be a massive boost to his belief and morale. Made the quarter-finals of the Worlds before losing to Littler and hopes for a big 2025.
