A busy Saturday begins without a lunchtime kick-off with the 3pm schedule boasting some big games. Manchester City welcomed Sam Allardyce’s Leeds and ran out comfortable winners, despite what the 2-1 score suggests, while both Tottenham and Chelsea got back to winning ways - defeating Crystal Palace and Bournemouth, respectively.
Later that day, a resurgent Liverpool team beat Brentford thanks to Mohamed Salah’s first-half goal.
There’ was a busy Monday too, with Fulham easily beating a Leicester team battling the drop at Craven Cottage and Southampton losing to Nottingham Forest after Everton thrashed Brighton.
