Premier League table 2023-24: Latest standings, fixtures and results for matchday 26
Liverpool set the tone for this week’s Premier League matchday with a thumping midweek win over Luton.
The Carabao Cup final moved the match at Anfield forward, before they take on Chelsea at Wembley on Sunday, with the Blues’ game against Tottenham postponed as a result.
Saturday’s action starts at 3pm GMT when Oliver Glasner won his first game charge of Crystal Palace in a key home game with Burnley. Fulham left it late to record their first win over Manchester United at Old Trafford in 21 years.
Manchester City, having beat Brentford 1-0 on Tuesday, were able to reply to Liverpool’s 4-1 win over struggling Luton on Saturday evening with a tight win away at Bournemouth before Arsenal thrashed Newcastle in the late kick-off.
Just one game to come on Sunday, as Wolves host struggling Sheffield United.
Brentford were beaten 4-2 by West Ham to round off the action on Monday, as the Hammers went eighth in the Premier League table.
