DAN Okoro will spend the 2025 season out on loan.

It has been confirmed this afternoon that the Warrington Wolves prop would join Castleford Tigers on a year-long loan deal, with the Tigers confirming he had begun training with them this week.

Okoro joined The Wire from Bradford Bulls midway through the 2024 season on a contract that is not due to expire until the end of 2027.

However, he did not make a first-team appearance during the remainder of 2024, with the closest he came to action being a stint as 18th man in a much-changed side that lost to Wigan Warriors in Round 13.

Instead, he was limited to reserve-grade games and loan spells away from the club, turning out for former club Bradford and Swinton Lions.

Okoro has been a part of the Warrington squad for pre-season training in recent weeks but has now joined up with Castleford as they prepare for 2025.
