RAC trio blossom at Stockport Daffodil
A Radcliffe AC trio took on the Stockport Daffodil 10k at the weekend and performed well.
Now in its fourth year, this closed-road route through Hazel Grove, in Stockport, offers all runners a bespoke wooden medal and a free pair of ‘Hilly’ socks - perfect motivation for taking on the hill at the end.
Dominic Parry was first over the line for Radcliffe in 47mins 46secs.
Helen Kay was next in 1:06:00, followed by Sara Parry, who knocked almost five minutes from her time from the previous year, finishing in 1:16:00.
Elsewhere, Radcliffe AC runners were out in support of junior athlete Oliver at the weekend, as he marked his 50th parkrun at Stretford.
Bagging a new personal-best time in the process, Oliver completed the 5km course in 25:48.
