Raiders edge Chargers in AFC West clash
The Oakland Raiders moved to 5-4 after their 26-24 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football.
Last night’s AFC West divisional clash saw Jon Gruden’s men move into wildcard contention, while the Chargers chances of a late run are now looking severely dented after the loss.
Quarterback Philip Rivers threw two picks early on to leave his side 10-0 down and ended the night with five sacks and three interceptions in total.

For the Raiders, it was rookie running-back Josh Jacobs that impressed yet again, going in for an 18-yard touchdown late on that secured the win and finished with 71 yards from 16 attempts.
Derek Carr threw for 218 yards and a touchdown, but more crucially, didn't turn the ball over once in game that was strewn full of errors – both sides combined for 20 penalties.
Raiders SS Erik Harris got his 2nd INT on this 56-yard INT return for a TD.
Philip Rivers was under pressure on the play and has been pressured on 4 of 6 dropbacks through this play.

On the other side of the ball, Raiders’ rookie defensive end Clelin Ferrell clocked up 2.5 sacks after entering the game with just the one previously.
While the Chiefs still lead the AFC West, the Chargers are now at 4-6 with little to no chance of making the postseason.
