Rams vs. Eagles score, live updates: Philadelphia, Los Angeles face off in snowy divisional round playoff battle

The Rams are looking to knock off another NFC heavyweight

The Los Angeles Rams were one of the surprises of wild-card weekend, comfortably beating the 14-win Minnesota Vikings in Arizona, after the game had to be moved due to the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles. The victory earned the Rams a cross-country trip to take on the Philadelphia Eagles, fresh off their wild-card win over the Packers.

The Rams and Eagles faced off earlier this year, in a game the Los Angeles defense would surely like to forget. On Sunday Night Football back in Week 12, Saquon Barkley turned in one of the greatest individual rushing performances in NFL history, torching the Rams for an Eagles-record 255 yards and two touchdowns in a 37-20 Philadelphia win. That was the ninth-best total in a game in league history, and wasn't a blip on the radar for the Eagles' offense, which finished second in the NFL in rushing yards.

Temperatures are expected to be around 30 degrees with rain and snow in the forecast for Sunday afternoon in Philadelphia.

A 55-yard punt by Braden Mann pushes the Rams back to their 18-yard line, where Will Shipley downs it with 2:35 remaining.

  • Matthew Stafford completed six passes for 75 yards on that last touchdown drive. The snow didn't affect him there.

  • TOUCHDOWN: Eagles 28, Rams 22

The Rams aren't done yet after Saquon Barkley's touchdown. They go 70 yards in 10 plays, finished off by a 4-yard TD pass from Matthew Stafford to Colby Parkinson.

Can the Rams' defense stop Saquon Barkley, though?

  • Saquon Barkley has 196 rushing yards on 24 carries, tying an Eagles postseason record. Oh, and he's scored twice today.

Saquon Barkley just plunged the dagger into the Rams, ripping off a 78-yard touchdown run when L.A. needed to stop the Eagles from getting a first down.

Jake Elliott misses his second extra point of the game, but Eagles fans likely do not care.

  • The Rams can't recover after that first-down sack. Kyren Williams gains 7 yards on second down, but Matthew Stafford throws incomplete over the middle looking for Puka Nacua on third-and-10. L.A. has to punt with 4:54 remaining in the fourth quarter.

On fourth-and-4, Philadelphia opts to go for it, bringing in Devonta Smith and Jahan Dotson to spread it out. Jalen Hurts hits A.J. Brown on a slant route for a 9-yard gain and a first down at the Rams' 23-yard line.

Philadelphia will kick a field goal after the penalty.

  • Jared Verse sacks Jalen Hurts back into last week

  • Snow game incoming!

  • Demarcus Robinson would not let that pass become an interception
