Rangers sign key Aberdeen staff member as 'best in the business' departs Pittodrie
Rangers have raided Aberdeen's backroom staff to appoint Kevin Bain as their new head physio.
The Ibrox outfit have brought the Dons head of medical to Govan after he was previously recruited at Pittodrie by former Reds manager Jim Goodwin in 2022.
Bain is seen as one of the top physios in the country with an impressive record of injury prevention, and will now support Philippe Clement's backroom team.

The Scot has served under five Aberdeen managers during his stint in the Granite City - Goodwin, Barry Robson, Neil Warnock, Peter Leven and Jimmy Thelin.
He has previously had successful spells at St Mirren and Premiership rivals Ross County before joining the Dons, reports the Daily Record.

It now leaves Thelin and the Dons needing to find a new head of medical and sports science, but the club's search is already at an advanced stage.
They hope to make a permanent appointment in the coming weeks, especially coming into an action-packed period of the season.

The Dons drew 1-1 with Hearts on Sunday, picking up two points from three away games to Hearts, Hibs and St Mirren.
They now face champions Celtic at home on Wednesday. The Hoops are currently four points ahead with a game in hand.
