Rangers starlet is heading for Ibrox exit door
A January exit has been mooted for Rangers starlet Alex Lowry, with the Ibrox club believed to be eager for a permanent transfer.
The 21-year-old from Uddingston burst onto the scene at Ibrox in season 2021/22, but a knee injury the following season has seriously hampered his progress.
He hasn't made a first-team appearance since December 2023, and is out of contract this summer.
Lowry spent last season on loan at Hearts, but was sent back to Ibrox before the end of the season, having failed to nail down a regular first-team place.

Another loan spell beckoned at Carlisle, but Lowry didn't want to leave Rangers, resulting in the move breaking down.
Lowry hasn't been seen in the Rangers 'B' side for some time and was missing as they beat rivals Celtic 3-2 to win the Glasgow Cup this week.
Reports emanating from Rangers fan sites suggest Lowry looks disinterested, leading the Daily Mail to suggest "Lowry's race at Ibrox looks to be done".
