Rangers third kit leaked as Ibrox side 'ask for Irn-Bru sponsor' and supporters split

The ever-reliable Footy Headlines have already leaked what look to be Rangers' new home and away kits for next season. And they've now released a striking new third kit design.

The Ibrox men have had several orange kits down the years and have gone down that route again with Castore's latest offering. That is the top's main colour with blue dots covering the bottom three-quarters of the torso and the sleeves, with blue flashes at the end of the sleeves and collar.

The Castore emblem, Rangers badge and UniBet sponsor are all in white. One fan has suggested the kit looks like a can of Irn-Bru and there has even been a suggestion the club are angling for sponsorship from the iconic Scottish fizzy drink ahead of the Premiership's 2024/25 season.

The leaked kit was posted to social media with the person adding: "Rangers' supposed new Castore away kit is just asking for Irn-Bru sponsorship - the blue dots even look like bubbles!" Fans appear to be divided on whether they like the new design with one saying: "I kind of like that but my first thought was Irn Bru."

Another added: "At least have Irn-Bru as the sponsor then". While someone else who clearly liked the kit said: "That's actually cracking.

However, it wasn't a hit with everybody. One downbeat supporter said: Horrendous, genuinely one of the worst I've ever seen." Another added: "It's like a cricket shirt. Honking. Castore seriously needs to go after this season.

Michael Stewart has previously criticised Rangers for using orange kits, claiming they are deliberately tapping into a sectarian element within their support.
