Rayan Cherki transfer stance revealed as Lyon respond to £20m offer amid Chelsea and Liverpool links
Lyon owner John Textor has reputedly announced they do not intend to negotiate with any clubs regarding Rayan Cherki.
Reports linking Chelsea with the attacking midfielder date back at least 18 months, while Liverpool and Manchester United have reportedly enquired about the France under-21 international. Tottenham Hotspur are another club credited with an interest in Cherki, whose contract expires at the end of next season.
However, over recent days, a move to the Bundesliga rather than the Premier League has appeared most likely. Borussia Dortmund are said to have made an offer to sign the player this winter transfer window.

Textor now appears to have ruled out selling Cherki on deadline day. "We rejected Borussia Dortmund's offer and do not intend to negotiate with them or any other club," the Lyon owner has reportedly told Fabrizio Romano.
French television channel Canal Plus asked Textor about Cherki leaving on Sunday - when they lost 3-2 away to Marseille in Ligue 1 - to which the Lyon owner replied: "No! No, no chance."
It was a busy weekend for the Eagle Football Holdings chairman, who also co-owns Crystal Palace. Textor took umbrage with a post on X, formerly Twitter, from Sky Sport News reporter

Dortmund had the idea to sign the 23-year-old goalkeeper from Ajax now and then immediately loan him out, either to the Bundesliga or to Denmark. Talks about this have taken place.

The journalist claimed all parties were confident of agreeing for Cherki to join Dortmund that evening. Negotiations were said not to be an issue because the player has a £19million release clause.
Sharing a screenshot of the post on his Instagram story, Textor responded: "Fake news… this journalist is relying on multiple sources with manipulative intent."
Plettenberg now claims the deal is very complicated and quotes sources from Lyon when claiming Dortmund have left the move too late in the transfer window. He has also said the German club have seen several offers rejected.
