Reading coaches Nigel Gibbs and Mikele Leigertwood are the next guests for the Reading Former Players Association this month.

Both title winners in 2012, Gibbs returned to the club for his third spell last month to assist Noel Hunt.

The Watford legend was originally brought in to work with the Academy in 2006 and worked alongside Brian McDermott and Paul Clement in previous spells.

Meanwhile, former midfielder Leigertwood stepped up from his role as Under-18s manager to join the first-team coaching staff.

He made over 100 appearances for the club and scored the goal which secured promotion to the Premier League 13 years ago.

Hosted by Ady Williams, the pair will be interviewed at the Tilehurst British Legion on Thursday, January 30, with tickets costing £24 including fish and chips.

Money raised on the night will be donated to the Former Players Association's charity of the year, Swings and Smiles.

Doors and bar open at 6.30pm for a 7.30pm start.
