Reading boss Noel Hunt has made two changes for the New Year's Day trip to Cambridge United, with both full-backs changing.

Looking for a third straight win to kick off 2025, the U's have lost their last four and sit in the relegation zone.

From the 2-1 win over Mansfield Town on December 29, both Michael Craig and Abraham Kanu at full-back have been replaced.

Louie Holzman and Andre Garcia come in for the Royals, with there likely to be a new face at right-back with three regular central defenders named.

Joel Pereira remains in between the posts, while Amadou Mbengue and Tyler Bindon keep their place in the backline.

Lewis Wing, Charlie Savage and Harvey Knibbs- returning to his former club- complete an unchanged midfield trio.

Chem Campbell, Mamadi Camara and former U Sam Smith complete the side.

The likes of Jayden Wareham and Tyler Sackey are on the bench for attacking options.

Former Reading captain Michael Morrison starts for the hosts, as does former Huddersfield Town striker Elias Kachunga.
