After openly declaring his desire to leave Manchester United, a whole host of top clubs are keen on a January move for Marcus Rashford.

The England forward hasn't played for the Red Devils for over a month and shortly after the arrival of new Old Trafford boss Ruben Amorim, publicly expressed his intention to seek a new challenge elsewhere. The 27-year-old has no shortage of options and reportedly travelled to Italy with his agent over a potential loan move to AC Milan, while Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked with United's No. 10.

But one club who currently will NOT be able to sign Rashford despite their reported interest is Milan's Serie A rivals Napoli. Former Chelsea and Tottenham manager Antonio Conte is said to be keen on bringing the striker to the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium, with Rashford identified as a potential replacement for Georgia star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who could well be on the way to PSG.

However, Serie A registration rules currently do not permit Napoli to make a move for Rashford. The Azzuri found a loophole to get around the Italian top-flight's regulations of only being able to sign three players from outside the European Union per-season, when they sealed deals for Scotland duo Billy Gilmour, Rashford's old Man United teammate Scott McTominay and Ajax's Brazilian winger David Neres. Napoli were only able to sign both McTominay and Gilmour because of an additional slot that is available for new players from the UK.

The Naples club - who currently top Serie A - also reportedly have their eye on United's Argentine international Alejandro Garnacho, but unlike Rashford will have no problems in getting the winger registered. That is because Garnacho was born in Madrid and spent five years in the youth academies of Getafe and Atletico Madrid before making the switch to Old Trafford in 2020.
