After he retired from the NFL, Reggie Bush dedicated his full attention to his kids: Briseis, Uriah and Agyeman.

Before entering fatherhood, Reggie spent years in the spotlight as an athlete in the NFL, who also had ties to Hollywood. The former running back was in a high-profile relationship with Kim Kardashian and he later went on to meet and marry his wife, dancer Lilit Bush, in 2014.

By the time the professional football player retired in 2017, he had welcomed all three of his children and wanted to be a fully present dad.

"For 20-plus years, most of my time was devoted to a single sport. Now I get an opportunity to be home, and to find a new passion and keep my focus on top of my family," he PEOPLE in May 2020.

While Reggie and Lilit's children are still going into their own, the parents enjoy sharing glimpses of their childhood, from playing flag football to celebrating their Armenian heritage and spending the holidays together.

Most recently, in January 2025, the retired pro was joined by his daughter and sons when he was inducted into the Rose Bowl Hall of Fame. At the event, the family took a sweet group photo, in which Briseis proudly held the award for her dad.

Briseis Bush, 11

Reggie and Lilit welcomed their first child, daughter Briseis, on May 6, 2013.

Briseis’ name comes from Greek mythology and refers to the queen at the center of the conflict between Achilles and Agamemnon in Homer’s epic the Iliad.

Less than two weeks after his daughter was born, Reggie opened up to E! News at a May 2013 event about what parenthood had been like so far.

“Getting the chance to be a father and bring a little one into this world, it's a blessing," he said. "But at the same time, I'm excited, I'm a little nervous ... all the different feelings that go into being a first-time father."

Reggie added, “At the end of the day, she's a blessing and I'm excited at the opportunity to be a father.”

While her father made his mark as an athlete, Briseis has already begun to master her own sport — tennis.

During an April 2024 appearance on T2’s Second Serve, Briseis shared that she started playing tennis when she was around 5 or 6 years old. When asked what she liked about the sport, she said, “I like that it’s competitive and once you win, you’re like, ‘Yes!’ “

Briseis revealed that her favorite tennis players were Serena Williams, Naomi Osaka and Coco Gauff. Reggie's daughter said she particularly admired Gauff for her “forehand and backhand because they’re really powerful.”

Her parents both play tennis with her and she's offered constructive criticism for them. While she said that her dad was “actually getting better,” she wanted to keep coaching him because he needed “more consistency.” When it came to her mom, Briseis had notes to help her topspin.

In the long term, Briseis has her sights set high for her future in tennis, sharing, “I want to play pro, I want to get into Wimbledon.”

Uriah Bush, 9

Reggie and Lilit welcomed their son Uriah on July 12, 2015.

While he spent his early years outside of the spotlight with only the occasional post by his parents on social media, Uriah quickly became comfortable in front of the camera.

In May 2024, he collaborated with his dad on a minute-long promo video for the release of the Reggie Bush Collection through the athleisure wear company TravisMathew.

In the clip, Uriah portrays a younger Reggie in 2014 as a fortuneteller who shares insights into his future. Halfway through, time speeds up and the now-grown-up Reggie shows off pieces from the clothing line.

Lilit celebrated the launch by posting the promo on her Instagram with the caption, "My boys 🥰."

Aside from helping his father with creative ventures, Uriah is often spotted spending time with his older sister and younger brother.

When he's not practicing his basketball skills in the kitchen or going on scenic hikes, Uriah is dipping his toes into football.

Most recently, Lilit shared snaps of her and Briseis cheering Uriah on during a flag football game. The 9-year-old showed off his strong throw in a fun clip where his team, the Lions, scored.

Speaking to GQ in September 2023, Reggie opened up about the importance of his family, explaining that he has learned so much about himself through them.

“My wife and my kids give me just a strong foundation and all the right family support that I need to be the man I am out in the work field,” he told the outlet.

Reggie explained that his loved ones gave him "stability, strength" and a good dose of "craziness."

He continued, “As I've grown and as I become a man and a father and a husband, I've learned so much about myself, and I'm still learning every single day. Every time I go home, I feel like I'm learning something new from my family.”

Agyeman Bush, 7

Reggie and Lilit welcomed their son Agyeman (previously named Agyemang) on Sept. 2, 2017.

When he was a toddler, his mom taught him the Armenian language to keep him connected to his culture.

In an October 2019 video shared on Instagram, Lilit showed Agyeman practicing certain English words, including “excuse me” and “strawberry,” before having him repeat several Armenian words after her.

While all of his children are unique in their own way, Lilit told PEOPLE in May 2020 that their athleticism is the one thing they all have in common. The mom of three is a trained dancer and fitness enthusiast.

"They're all active," she said. "They're all athletic, obviously — that's a mandatory in the house. Everybody's got to stretch, everybody's got to exercise. That helps a lot to kill that energy during the day so they're good to go to sleep."

Briseis’ sport of choice is tennis, but Agyeman prefers track and field.

In May 2024, Reggie posted a video on his Instagram capturing his younger son’s track meet.

In the caption, the former NFL star wrote, "Agyeman’s first year running track, last weekend he took home 1st 🥇 in the 100M and the 4x1 relay 🏃🏾‍♂️💨, next up is Finals.”
