Tottenham will look to return to winning ways when they take on Nottingham Forest at the City Ground.

Ange Postecoglou's side were stunned 6-3 by Premier League leaders Liverpool on Sunday evening, adding more pressure on the Spurs boss. But the team won't have to digest their eighth league defeat of the term, though, as they return to action on Boxing Day (3pm).

Ahead of the clash, Postecoglou will be hoping to count on Destiny Udogie after he was named as an unused substitute for the game against Arne Slot's men. "Hopefully, Destiny will be okay. He wasn’t quite right today, we had him on the bench, hopefully he’ll be closer to it," the Australian told Tottenham's Review Show after the game.

"We’re kind of hoping Ben Davies, Mikey Moore and Richarlison aren’t too far away after that, but, for Thursday, it’s probably just Destiny and Rodrigo [Bentacur]."

Here, football.london has taken a look at the latest injury news for Spurs.

Guglielmo Vicario

Injury: Ankle/foot.

What Postecoglou has said: "Typical Vic, he's pushing every boundary," Postecoglou said last week. "He's still a fair bit away, but he'll make sure he's back as quickly as possible. He's still around the group and invested in what we're doing. He's progressing well.'

Potential return date: March.

Mikey Moore

Virus

What Postecoglou has said: "No, no. he hasn’t been involved [in training]," he said. "We’ll need to get at least a couple of weeks’ training into Mikey and get him back up to speed. Hopefully not too far away."

Potenital return date: vs Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day (3pm).

Richarlison

Injury: Hamstring.

What Postecoglou has said: "Richarlison potentially first week of the new year."

Potenital return date: vs Newcastle on January 4 (12:30pm).

Ben Davies

Injury: Hamstring.

What Postecoglou has said: "Ben is not as bad as first thought. There is a chance he could be back hopefully before the new year, so that was positive again."

Potenital return date: vs Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day (3pm).

Rodrigo Bentacur

Suspended.

The Argentina international was imposed a seven-match suspension and a £100k fine on Rodrigo for a breach of FA Rule E3 in relation to a media interview.

Potenital return date: vs Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day (3pm).

Wilson Odobert

Injury: Hamstring.

What Postecoglou has said: "We can confirm that Wilson underwent surgery to his right hamstring yesterday. The 19-year-old will continue to be monitored by our medical team to determine when he can return to training," Postecoglou said in November.

Potenital return date: Unknown.

Cristian Romero

Injury: Hamstring.

What Postecoglou has said: "Hopefully, he'll be back in the New Year but, again, similar to Micky [Van de Ven], we've got to be careful every step of the way."

Potenital return date: vs Newcastle on January 4 (12:30pm).

Micky van de Ven

Injury: Hamstring.

What Postecoglou has said: "Van de Ven is still chugging along. I think he will be in the new year. Not as significant injury as last time with Micky, but obviously having a setback, the medical team is going to make sure he is right to go."

Potenital return date: January 2025.
