Liverpool legend Robbie Fowler believes that two Reds players have already signed new contracts.
The Reds head deeper into January with little progress on securing new contracts for key stars Mohamed Salah, Virgil van Dijk, and Trent Alexander-Arnold. All three contracts are set to expire at the end of the season, and despite prolonged negotiations, no new agreements have been reached. This ongoing saga has dominated headlines for months, leaving fans and pundits speculating about the future of Liverpool's key trio.
Reports have not just linked Alexander-Arnold away from the club, with fresh rumors from Saudi Arabia linking both Salah and Van Dijk to a sensational double move to Al-Hilal. As uncertainty looms, Liverpool faces the possibility of losing all three players at the end of the season.

However, former Reds striker Fowler thinks that at least two of them have signed a new deal, suggesting that the club might be holding back on an announcement.
In a video released by PrimeVideoSport, the 49-year-old said: "I do have a little theory actually, I don't know if this is so far from the truth. I just think two of them have signed already, for some reason and maybe one hasn't.
"But a simple fact is that the club can't come out and say 'you have signed' because it makes the other one look worse. I think there is a possibility that may have happened."
Fowler added: "I think if two of them sign and they [Liverpool] come out and say 'we've signed them' it puts so much pressure on the one who hasn't."
Among the trio up for renewal, Van Dijk and Salah appear the most likely to commit their futures to Liverpool. While it seems there is still work to be done, fans will hope the wait for positive news won’t be much longer.
