Ruben Amorim gets 'dream' Man United transfer chance as Marcus Rashford swap deal emerges
Manchester United continue to be linked with several potential new signings as the January transfer window rolls on.
United have until February 3 to complete their transfer business before they have to wait until the end of the season. Reports have been swirling for several weeks claiming that Ruben Amorim has a number of targets in mind to strengthen the squad that he inherited from previous manager, Erik ten Hag.
It remains to be seen if United will move to make any new signings before the deadline next month. The Manchester Evening News reported that United do not have a budget to strengthen their squad unless they sell players currently at the club to raise funds.

Here, MEN Sport takes a look at some of the latest United transfer news and gossip that has generated headlines over the last 24 hours.
United are being linked with a move for Napoli forward Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. According to French news outlet L'Equipe, United will compete with Paris Saint-Germain for the signing of the Georgia international.
PSG are reportedly in the market for a new forward amid the impending departure of Randal Kolo Muani. United are also mentioned as having an interest, and may have an advantage in the deal.
The report claims that United could offer Napoli a swap deal that would see Marcus Rashford join the Serie A club while Kvaratskhelia move to Old Trafford. It has also been reported that United and Napoli have already begun preparing contracts for both players as part of the swap deal, should one be agreed before the deadline.
Elsewhere, United are continuing to be linked with a move for Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen. According to Give Me Sport, Amorim 'dreams' of bringing the Nigeria international to Old Trafford to add to his squad for the second half of the season.
Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, although reports have suggested there is a break clause in the deal should a suitable offer arrive in January. Despite the interest from the United, though, the report claims that a move is unlikely to happen before the February 3 deadline and may have to wait until the summer.
The finances behind the deal have been listed as the main reason why United may have to wait until the summer to sign Osimhen. The striker is reported to have a £75million release clause in his contract at Napoli.
