Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has refused to get drawn into speculation linking Alejandro Garnacho with a move away from Old Trafford.

Chelsea are one of the clubs interested in the Argentina international, with the Blues considering their options at left wing, football.london understands. However, the west Londoners face competition for Garnacho, with Napoli also looking to sign he 20-year-old winger.

No decision has been made yet from Chelsea regarding Garnacho but the Blues do indeed hold an interest in the United youngster. Likewise, Chelsea are also keen on Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens and Bayern Munich's Mathys Tel, as previously reported by football.london.

Amorim, who insisted Garnacho has a future at United earlier in the month, did not want to get sucked into talking about what will happen with the winger beyond the February 3 deadline. "As I understand the question, let's focus on the game," Amorim said on Wednesday. "I don't want to talk about that, especially before a game [United's clash with Rangers on Thursday evening].

"Our focus is that our players are here to play. We need to improve, we need to win games to have that feeling of winning, it's really important for us so let's focus on that."

Garnacho has only started four games in the Premier League under Amorim and is yet to score during the Portuguese's tenure. Amorim's system is a three-back where there is an onus on the wing-backs but with Garnacho being an inside forward, the transition has not been seamless for the Argentine.

It has been a quiet month for Chelsea in terms of incomings with nobody coming through the door at Stamford Bridge yet. However, the west Londoners have recalled Aaron Anselmino and Trevoh Chalobah from their loan spells at Boca Juniors and Crystal Palace, respectively.

There is expected to be plenty of outgoings before next month's deadline with a number of players free to leave the club should the right offer come in. Ben Chilwell, Cesare Casadei and Carney Chukwuemeka have all been told they can leave Stamford Bridge if they want to play regular first-team football.

It has gone pretty quiet regarding Chilwell but there have been offers for both Casadei and Chukwuemeka. Torino are the current front-runners to sign Casadei, with the Italian club currently in talks with Chelsea over signing the 22-year-old midfielder.

Chukwuemeka, meanwhile, has plenty of interest but Chelsea do not want the 21-year-old to leave on loan. Instead, they will accept no less than the £40million release clause inserted in the midfielder's contract, football.london understands.
