Rumoured Town defensive target set to make Scottish Premiership switch
Reported Swindon Town target Jonathan Tomkinson looks set to join Scottish Premiership side Ross County on loan from Norwich City.
Last week Swindon were linked to the United States youth international in a report from Larry Henry Jr, who said that Bradford City, where Tomkinson spent last season, were also interested in a temporary deal for the defender.
Speaking to sources close to both clubs, The Adver learned that there was interest from Norwich and Swindon in a potential move but no concrete action had been taken with other options on the table.

Now, Connor Southwell, who covers Norwich for The Pink Un, has revealed that Tomkinson will now be joining Ross County this month as a deal is being finalised north of the border.
The 22-year-old is out of contract at Carrow Road in the summer but Norwich have an option to automatically extend his deal by another year.
Swindon are struggling with injuries in defensive injuries at present, with Harrison Minturn, Grant Hall, and Joel McGregor all out for the foreseeable future as Rosaire Longelo and George Cox deal with knocks.
Ian Holloway said that the injury to Cox had caused him to reconsider his options this month before learning the injury was not as severe as had been thought.
