Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed three Leicester City selection decisions vs Man United
Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed that talented teenage duo Jake Evans and Jeremy Monga are going to be in the Leicester City squad to face Manchester United on Friday night.
The Foxes travel to Old Trafford in the FA Cup fourth round looking to end a retched run of form. Van Nistelrooy's side have lost EIGHT of their last 10 matches across all competitions.
Saturday's humbling 4-0 defeat at Everton was the latest bitter blow, as Leicester fans continue to issue their frustration following a disappointing campaign so far. They sit 18th and inside the relegation zone, having won just Premier League top-flight matches this season.

And while the FA Cup is not at the top of Leicester's priority list, Van Nistelrooy is desperate to turn their fortunes around and get one over his former employers. In attempt to do just that, the Dutchman has called up two exciting academy prospects to his Foxes squad to face United.
"The FA Cup is also fantastic to add young players into my squad, a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old," Van Nistelrooy said at his press conference. "They're going to be part of the squad, on the bench, tomorrow.
"It's an occasion where these things can happen, opportunities for players. They have names! The 15-year-old is Jeremy Monga and the 16-year-old is Jakes Evans.
"The moment I came, coming from the Netherlands, it’s a country where you develop players and they sign for teams in the bigger leagues. In my time in PSV, it was great to be part of the development of Cody Gakpo, Noni Madueke, Xavi Simons, Jarrod Branthwaite, Johan Bakayoko, Ismael Saibari, it’s fantastic as a manager, working with these lads.
"You’re teaching them the trade of what it’s like to be a professional, what the lifestyle is about, what is the approach, what is the mindset. Then you talk about things on the pitch, develop them as players and as human beings.
"It’s the same here. The first thing I did was look at the Under-21s, the Under-18s, join them in for regular first-team training and get an idea of them. It’s not only looking outside to strengthen.
There’s a great academy here and I look inside to strengthen. When players are good enough, the age doesn’t matter to me, and they can help the squad and the team."
Evans, 16, has been in fine form for Leicester's Under 21s so far this season, scoring six times in 10 Premier League 2 matches. A left-footed forward, Evans has netted in each of his last three appearances, including during the Foxes' 3-0 win over Coventry last week.
Monga, 15, is regarded as one of the most talented young players around right now. The 2009-born winger, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool, Chelsea and Real Madrid in recent months, has scored twice and added four assists in 14 matches this season.
Meanwhile, experienced midfielder Wilfried Ndidi is set to be part of the Leicester squad to travel to United after missing the last two months with a hamstring injury. "Wilfred is fine. He had a great week of training last week and this week," Van Nistelrooy added. "He will be part of the squad tomorrow.
"There are a couple with some light injuries. They will be assessed today to see if they can travel or not. There are two or three with light injuries that are doubtful for tomorrow. We’ll see later on."
