Ruud van Nistelrooy drops Leicester City transfer hint after Tottenham with five-word response
Leicester City boss Ruud van Nistelrooy has confirmed that Hamza Choudhury is likely to leave the club amid speculation linking him with a move to Sheffield United.
Reports in the week had suggested that the 27-year-old was close to joining the Championship on loan until the end of the season. It's thought the deal will include an option to make it permanent in the summer.
Choudhury has made just four Premier League appearances this season and six in all competitions. He was left out of the matchday squad for Sunday's 2-1 win over Tottenham, prompting Van Nistelrooy to be asked about his future.

Asked if he could be on his way out of the club, the City boss replied: “I think he might be.”
Choudhury's most recent appearance for Leicester came off the bench in the 2-0 defeat to Manchester City after Christmas. He started the 4-0 thrashing at Newcastle in December but hadn't featured in the league since the 2-2 draw at Crystal Palace in September.
Harry Winks, Boubakary Soumare, Wilfred Ndidi and Oliver Skipp have been preferred to the academy product with Van Nistelrooy sticking with James Justin at right-back, despite his troubles this term.
If Choudhury does move to Sheffield United, he will join Tom Cannon at Bramall Lane. The striker joined the Blades last week after being recalled from his loan at Stoke City.
United are currently second in the Championship table, one point behind league leaders Leeds United. A return to the Premier League could be on the cards for Choudhury, should the move be completed.
