Thirty-six Ryde Harriers competed in the Stubbington 10k race.

With a starting line-up of more than 2,000 athletes, the race is one of the most popular 10-kilometre events in the south of England.

In good conditions, Bournemouth's Elmi Mohamoud Abdinasir led the field, with Harrier's Matt Sharp close behind.

Chris Newnham was in the next group of six athletes, with Dave Hunt and Gary Marshall in the top 25.
