Saints confirm Juric backroom staff appointments with two coaches departing
SAINTS have confirmed the appointments of Matteo Paro and Stjepan Ostojić to the coaching staff of manager Ivan Jurić, as reported by the Daily Echo.
Paro, who becomes Southampton's assistant coach, and Ostojić, who takes on the role of fitness coach, have both had their work permits approved.
The pair have now started work with the squad at Staplewood Campus and will be in the dugout alongside Juric against Brentford on Saturday.
Rhys Owen and Colin Calderwood have departed Saints following their arrival. Goalkeeper coach Dean Thornton was not mentioned in Southampton's statement.

The statement on Southampton's website said: "The club welcomes both of them to Southampton.
"(The club) would also like to express its thanks to Matt Gill, Rhys Owen and Colin Calderwood, who have all now departed the coaching staff. We wish each of them well in their future endeavours."
Former Juventus midfielder Paro, 41, has worked as Jurić’s assistant for a number of years, with the Italian national having followed him across his spells with Genoa, Hellas Verona, Torino and Roma.
Croatia-born Ostojić, 49, who was a midfielder in his homeland as a player, has been alongside Jurić throughout his managerial career.
Juric told the Daily Echo: "They are close to me and they will be on the bench supporting me. (It will be nice) to speak with somebody who understands everything.
"But I have to say that I found a lot of people who understand football here in Southampton. They try to understand what I want. I've enjoyed the work here."
