Saka replacement hint, new injury worry - Four things spotted in Arsenal training before Ipswich
Arsenal are back in Premier League action on Friday evening with Ipswich Town as the visitors to Emirates Stadium. Following Christmas and Boxing Day, the Gunners are looking to build some winning momentum after the dominant victory against Crystal Palace less than seven days ago.
While Mikel Arteta would have been delighted at seeing his side win 5-1, the injury suffered to Bukayo Saka put a dampener on the triumph. It has since been confirmed the Gunners' star will be absent for several weeks at least with it also claimed a return for Saka may not arrive until February or even March.
Arsenal will thus have to navigate the next the next few fixtures without Saka with a number of possible replacements available. Injury issues have eased for Arteta as of late but this latest blow and another possible scare could see the list of absentees increase again.

With that being said, football.london has pulled together all the important things spotted from Arsenal's final training session at London Colney before Ipswich.
Saka replacement hint
Arteta will be forced into at least one starting XI change with Saka ruled out through injury. Upon Leandro Trossard's introduction at Selhurst Park, Gabriel Martinelli switched flanks before Gabriel Jesus started the second half on the right.
Arteta has also stated Ethan Nwaneri and Kai Havertz can play there if needed and now some still images from training could have hinted at the player coming in. In the foreground of one image was Martinelli wearing a bib with Jesus in the background and on his team.
Given the framing, it suggests Martinelli is the out wide on the right with Jesus through the middle again which could be how Arteta organises his front three as Raheem Sterling is also injured.
Possible injury concern
While Saka is guaranteed to be out, another Arsenal player could also join him as a fresh absentee. On a number of occasions, certain stars have not been spotted training but then featured in the next game. This is often because of load management with Jorginho as the latest to experience that.
The Italy international does not feature that often however, with it therefore possible he has been hit by a minor injury and is thus only doing work indoors.
Gabriel joy
Gabriel Magalhaes appears to be very happy now he is back in the Arsenal team after an injury absence. The Brazil international missed three games in total before returning against Everton earlier this month and helping his side keep a clean sheet.
He also picked up another goal contribution last weekend against Crystal Palace. Now he is back alongside William Saliba, Gabriel was all smiles in Arsenal training in what appears to be a small-sided game.
Youngsters involved
The recent emergence of Myles Lewis-Skelly has again shown how when Arteta trusts youngsters, they are often the real deal.
The Gunners boss has faced criticism for somewhat blocking the pathway but Lewis-Skelly and Ethan Nwaneri are proof that is not the case with plenty more academy stars alongside the young duo in first-team training. Seb Ferdinand, Ismeal Kabia and Harrison Dudziak were just a some relatively new faces spotted.
