Sam Fender Newcastle United shirt unveiled as Mags to play in special kit v Brentford
Newcastle United will wear a special one-off shirt for tonight's clash against Brentford - as part of a special collaboration with Sam Fender.
The shirts will feature a bespoke design on the reverse promoting the singer’s highly anticipated third album, ‘People Watching’, which will be released in February 2025. Following Wednesday’s match, a limited number of the team’s shirts will be signed before being auctioned to raise money for the club’s official charity, Newcastle United Foundation.
A boyhood Newcastle United fan, North Shields lad Sam has become a North East icon and is set to return to St. James’ Park for three sold-out tour dates next summer – just two years after thrilling capacity crowds at the stadium with two sensational shows.

It's a great match, and it’s another opportunity to connect with Sam in a creative way which will excite our supporters and benefit the community.
"The anticipation for Sam’s concerts at St. James’ Park continues to build and not only does this allow us to promote his latest album, it gives us another opportunity to offer supporters a piece of Newcastle United history with the auction donations going to support the incredible work that Newcastle United Foundation continues to do across the region.”
Fans can bid on the match worn shirts via Newcastle United Foundation with more information to follow soon.
Sam Fender’s People Watching tour is set to sell out at St James’ Park with over 150,000 fans attending over three nights of shows. A limited number of hospitality packages remain for shows on Thursday 12th June and Sunday 15th June.
