Scotland rugby star screams brutal demand as Ireland Six Nations legend delivers final insult

To be honest, the fact Ireland’s rugby team wasn’t miles ahead of their Scottish rivals was surprising.

The world’s second best side stood just 17-5 ahead of their Celtic cousins at Murrayfield on weekend two of the Six Nations. They had absolutely battered Gregor Townsend’s side but to little avail.

In fact, at one point just into the second half, a fightback from the Scots even looked on. But then Ireland broke. And such was their hemming in of the Scots, a dark blue player was overheard delivering a simplistic but yet expletive order in a bid to get his team-mates to prevent another Irish try.

"Just f*****g hit him," was the cry from an unnamed Scottish back. BBC Commentator Andrew Cotter knew it wasn’t the worst advice ever given, simply saying, "you can understand that".

Ronan O’Gara delivered the final insult to the Scots. He said: "Good to see the fightback has lasted all of 10 minutes." Brutal but not wrong. Ireland were soon to surge ahead and the agonising wait for a Scots win over their rivals continues. It is now 11 games without a win...
