The fourth round of the Scottish Cup finished without a giant killing shock, but that means there is the potential for some huge fifth round clashes.

Celtic will be determined to retain the historic old trophy after a dramatic late winner against Rangers last May, but they were made to work hard by fellow Premiership side Kilmarnock at Parkhead - before coming out 2-1 winners. A rematch of last year's final is still on the cards after the Light Blues cruised beyond Highland League Fraserburgh at Ibrox - with Cyriel Dessers bagging a hat-trick, and producing a contender for miss of the season in a typically entertaining display.

Hearts and Hibs have lifted the trophy in recent times, and both capital sides got the better of lowly opposition - with Hearts dispatching with Highland League Brechin City, and Martin Boyle proving too hot for West of Scotland League Clydebank to handle. Struggling St Johnstone gave their fans something to cheer with victory over Motherwell meanwhile, whilst Ayr United recorded the most eye-catching scoreline - with a ruthless 8-0 demolition of Lowland League Broxburn.
