SCOTTISH presenter Kelly Cates is among the stars replacing Gary Lineker as the host of the popular football programme Match of the Day.
The BBC's flagship sporting show will also be hosted by Mark Chapman and Gabby Logan next season.
Gary Lineker, who has hosted the show for 26 years, is stepping down this summer but will continue to work with the BBC through coverage of the 2026 World Cup.
Discussing the new lineup, Kelly Cates, who will continue her role with Sky Sports, said she expects her first time on the show to be an "incredible moment".

She said: "I’ve worked with a lot of the pundits before and they’re all fantastic, so I’m just looking forward to getting started."
She added that she's known Gabby and Mark "really well for years" and feels like the three of them can bring together a "really comprehensive football package for fans."

New Match of the Day star Kelly Cates is a 49-year-old presenter from Glasgow who is the daughter of the former Celtic and Liverpool player and manager Sir Kenny Dalglish.
Alongside Mike Wedderburn, Cates was the first ever presenter on Sky Sports News in 1998 and has since had an illustrious career in broadcast.
Years later, she was part of the Channel 4 presenting team for the 2012 London Paralympics and has even worked with major sporting channels, including ESPN.
