See retired Alabama football coach Nick Saban's $17.5 million Florida home
Alabama head football coach Nick Saban is retiring and heading to Florida.
After 17 seasons and six national championships with the Crimson Tide and a coaching career spanning 50 years, including a stint with the NFL's Miami Dolphins, Saban, 72, called it quits Wednesday.
The legendary coach's announcement sent fans to his statue at Bryant-Denny Stadium, leaving offerings like oatmeal cream pie cookies, pom-poms and a balloon reading "Get Well Soon."
But Saban is still alive and well, and possibly looking forward to golfing near the Florida home he bought last year.

Former Alabama head coach bought home for $17.5 million
Saban bought a luxurious, six-bedroom home in Jupiter Island under an LLC named At High Tide in April 2023 for $17.5 million, according to previous reporting by the Palm Beach Post, part of the USA TODAY Network.
Corcoran agents who sold the house, Joanne Wagner and Susan Turner, initially listed it for $21.5 million.
The 6,200-square-foot house was built in 1992 and renovated in 2016. Features include marble floors, a floating staircase, floor-to-ceiling glass walls, a private garden, a dock and a boat lift.
Saban paid $133,020.94 in property taxes in 2023 and received a $50,000 homestead exemption after declaring the home his permanent residence, TCPalm, part of the USA TODAY Network reported.
Saban's home located in exclusive Florida town with golf legends
The property is located in Jupiter Island, Florida, north of Palm Beach on the east coast of the state. Jupiter Island, located on a barrier island, is known for being one of the most expensive and exclusive towns in the United States.
Saban reportedly loves to golf, and will have plenty of worthy opponents, as both Tiger Woods and Gary Player call Jupiter Island home.
Sources also told the Palm Beach Post that he has become a member at Jupiter Hills Club in Tequesta, one of the state's top private courses. The ultra-exclusive club requires an initiation fee of $125,000 and $17,300 in annual dues.
