Spurs' rumoured interest in PSG forward Randal Kolo Muani has been labelled as 'intriguing'.

The Lilywhites have already welcomed in the January transfer window by bringing 21-year-old Czech goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Slavia Prague to the club, in a deal said to be worth around £12.5m.

Injuries to Guglielmo Vicario and Fraser Forster have meant Ange Postecoglou was left with no choice.

But work also needs to be done elsewhere in attack and defence, with Spurs' hopes of qualifying for Europe seemingly diminishing week by week.

Vocal protests for Postecoglou and Daniel Levy grew louder as the game went on during Saturday's defeat against Newcastle United.

One man who has been linked with a move to the Premier League, amongst various other teams, is Kolo Muani, with the Frenchman seemingly now out of favour at the Parc des Princes.

Arriving at PSG for a hefty fee last summer, football.london's very own Alasdair Gold has explained the finer details of any movement for the 26-year-old this month, speaking via YouTube this week.

"Various attackers are being looked at and you will have seen the links with PSG's Randal Kolo Muani," began the Spurs correspondent. "He is a player who Spurs have looked at perhaps even before he went to PSG as well.

"He is a player who can play across the front three but hasn't really been able to replicate what he did in that brilliant season at Eintracht Frankfurt, he had 46 goal involvements in 40 games. He went to PSG for something like like £75m/£76m which is a mad figure in 2023.

"He is the subject of interest from a lot of clubs, 26 years old, fallen out of favour somewhat at PSG. Any side that wants him are going to have a bit of a battle on their hands as there are teams in various leagues who are looking at him. I am intrigued to see price-wise what he is available for and after signing someone for £76m 18 months ago, you are probably not wanting him to leave for cheaper. We will see."
