The Sidemen have sold out their biggest charity football match event to date in a matter of hours, with the YouTube supergroup set to play in front of 90,000 fans at Wembley Stadium.

Last week it was announced the Sidemen charity match would be returning on March 8, 2025. The last event was held in 2023 at West Ham United's London Stadium, raising £2.4m for charity, whilst previous iterations were held at Charlton Athletic's The Valley and Southampton's St. Mary's Stadium.

The group's global fanbase of 21 million subscribers on their main YouTube channel and over 100 million between their individual channels were waiting eagerly for the next event to come along, and were also wondering how they could up the scale.

Eventually the home of football - England's largest capacity stadium - was announced as the venue and following this morning's sale The Sidemen have confirmed it is now sold out.

Posting on their official social media channels, they responded: "This wouldn't be possible without you guys, THANK YOU! Can't wait to see you there - bring on March 8th."

Given their level of following, demand for tickets was always going to be high. At 11:33am - just over two-and-a-half hours after the sale had opened to the general public - group member KSI, real name Olajide ‘JJ’ Olatunji, posted to his Instragram story that he had joined the queue at number 136,857.

Alongside this picture he wrote: "Think we might be selling out Wembley Stadium in less than three hours."

By the time The Sidemen's sold out post was made across their social channels it was 12:13pm, so there might have been little in it to defeat that prediction but regardless the event sold out in rapid time.

And so KSI, along with fellow members Simon Minter (Miniminter), Joshua Bradley (Zerkaa), Tobit ‘Tobi’ Brown (TBJZL), Ethan Payne (Behzinga), Vikram Singh Barn (Vikkstar123), and Harry Lewis (W2S), will take to the Wembley turf with a number of YouTube and internet creators in front of 90,000 fans.
