New signings impact assessed as Hull City star sends message to potential arrivals
Ivor Pandur says performances like Hull City delivered at Sheffield United are a fantastic advert for what the Tigers can do when things click on the pitch, and can help them attract better players in the transfer market.
Friday night's thumping 3-0 win at Sheffield United was their most impressive of the season so far and came a couple of weeks after leading against Leeds United before fighting back from 3-1 down to earn a 3-3 draw in a pulsating encounter, with Louie Barry admitting it caught his eye.
Ruben Selles' arrival has sparked a revival in a season that was in danger of unravelling. But Pandur knows the Tigers must correct their worrying home form, which has seen them win just twice in 15 attempts this season.

Saturday's six-pointer against Stoke City is the first of eight MKM Stadium matches before the end of the season and the first of four against sides below them in the table. He says his colleagues simply have to find a way to arrest an alarming slump in front of their own fans which has plagued the club in the past few years.
"We know how important the games at home are," the Croatian stopper told Hull Live. "I think we desperately need a win in front of our fans to make them cheer a bit, so that's our goal."
Pandur was impressed with the display at Bramall Lane in keeping a third successive clean sheet away from home, with Cody Drameh, Fin Burns, Alfie Jones and Sean McLoughlin all playing a key part before Matty Jacob entered the contest in the second half and bagged the crucial second goal.
"They were outstanding. I think they already have a lot of games, they have been playing really well, and it makes the job so much easier - they were outstanding, and we know their quality," Pandur explained before going on to give an insight into the difference the new signings have made on morale in the dressing room.
"It's fresh energy," he said of the many new faces in City's squad. "It's a lot of quality, and they are great characters. I think the club did a really good job with bringing good people. You can see everybody adapted quite quickly to the style of play and what they needed to do; they have adapted really well.
"It shows that we have character and we want to fight. I think whoever is coming, they'll see this and it will give them a good feeling."
