We simulated Liverpool vs Man United to get a Premier League score prediction
Liverpool will be looking to kick-off 2025 with three points later today when the Reds take on fierce rivals Manchester United in the Premier League.
After a 3-1 win over Leicester City on Boxing Day, Liverpool continued their impressive form of late with a devastating 5-0 win against West Ham United, sending the Reds six points clear at the top of the Premier League with a game in hand. Arne Slot's side have been the outright best team in England so far this season, quite the opposite of rivals Man United.
Ruben Amorim's side sit 14th in the Premier League, losing their last three league games in a row without scoring a goal. The previous meeting between the two saw Liverpool win 3-0 at Old Trafford, with Mohamed Salah and Luis Diaz getting on the scoresheet.

Liverpool vs Man United Premier League score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that Liverpool could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Alisson; Alexander-Arnold, Quansah, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Gakpo; Diaz.
We predict that United could set up in a 3-4-2-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; De Ligt, Maguire, Martinez; Mazraoui, Mainoo, Ugarte, Dalot; Amad, Fernandes; Hojlund.
Liverpool were in full control from minute one at Anfield, and they almost took the lead in the 12th minute when a one-two saw Alexis Mac Allister break through on goal, but his driven shot at the near post was well saved by Andre Onana. The early chances gave the hosts confidence, and in the 20th minute, Slot's side went ahead.
After some patience build-up play, Trent Alexander-Arnold took aim from range, with his shot deflecting just wide of the post and out for a corner. The Englishman's resulting cross into the box was flicked on at the front post by Virgil van Dijk, with Salah open at the back post to tap into an empty net after peeling away from Harry Maguire.
Despite seeing little of the ball, United almost levelled the score moments after conceding, with Amad's deflected cross looping over the outstretched Alisson and onto the crossbar. Ruben Amorim's side started to grow into the game as half-time approached, but as they pushed forwards, they left themselves exposed at the back.
A turnover in possession allowed Liverpool to hit United on the break, with Cody Gakpo leading a five-on-two counterattack. Gakpo found Luis Diaz in the middle who threaded a pass through to Salah, and the forward shifted the ball past Onana before tapping home to make it 2-0.
With a two-goal lead, Liverpool produced a much more controlled performance in the second half as they limited United to little of the ball, with Slot's side easing their way to a comfortable win over their rivals.
