Ski company announces expansion of Lake District team
Maison Sport is announcing the expansion of its team in Staveley.
The online booking platform, which connects skiers with instructors across Europe, opened its Lake District office in November 2023.
Since then, the team has tripled in size, primarily focusing on sales and customer service roles.
The company was launched by former British ski team members who wanted to modernise the traditional ski school model.
The aim was to connect customers and instructors directly through an online platform.
The company said the expansion of the Staveley team reflects its performance and growth.
The team is expected to grow further over the next 12 months.

The company has reported a 62 percent increase in year-on-year performance figures, with gross booking revenue projected to exceed €17 million.

Maison Sport’s current marketplace includes more than 400 resorts in Europe and more than 1,300 qualified independent instructors across France, Switzerland, Italy and Austria.
