COLCHESTER United claimed an away point with a 0-0 draw at Harrogate Town, on Tuesday night and fans have given their verdict.

The U's shared the spoils at the Exercise Stadium, after a game of few chances.

More than 150 Colchester fans made the long trip up to North Yorkshire for the midweek game - here's some of their views.

Good away point, & 4 points from 2 away games is always welcome, but once again lack of quality delivery into the box cost us a win there for the taking. Once it clicks we’ll be a top half team for sure. McDonnell again everywhere; it’s like having an extra player.

Solid foundations in place, just need that bit of quality in the final third. So much better than anything we have seen in the last four years. Heading in the right direction under Danny & Nicky. Very close to being a really good side now

We’re always on the edge of clicking but never quite click. Good to see Tyreece on - my concern is his body language. Devoid of confidence & needs a goal. A point, but look blunt at times. Would be good to see some impactful signings. A must-win Saturday for serious aspirations

Si Collinson

We came, we saw, we left with a decent away point. Positives were there. But if only we could cross a ball into the box, we would unstoppable. Win at home Saturday to back it all up is a must.

Once the lineup was announced I thought we would get a win here tonight. A bit scrappy & we didn’t really get the ball down & play how we can. Another clean sheet for Macey, who wasn’t troubled too much. Good pressure at the end looking for the win & great support, 162 away fans

Wasn't a classic, but take the point and the clean sheet. We really lack that cutting edge, and the end product to turn draws into wins. Once it starts clicking, we can hopefully start looking upwards!
