Sondre Orjasaeter to Celtic £7m transfer talks ramp up as champions race to complete deal for Sarpsborg winger
Celtic are reportedly ramping up their bid to land Norwegian winger Sondre Orjasaeter with the champions looking to complete a £7million deal to sign the winger from Sarpsborg before the window closes.
The Scottish Premiership champions unveiled returning hero Jota on Monday and are still looking to bring back another former star in Kieran Tierney from Arsenal, although the full back might have to wait until the summer before arriving at Parkhead. But Orjasaeter is said to be one they are keen to get this month, according to tv2.no. Celtic have been consistently linked with him in recent months after an impressive season in Norway. Fiorentina, Parma and Nice are all keen on Orjasaeter with his current club in a strong position.
The report claims “the Scottish giants Celtic have announced they want to secure Sondre Orjasaeter in this transfer window. There has been interest in Sondre throughout this transfer window, but from experience it is only in the last days of the transfer window that things really happen.
