Sonny Bradley in Derby County transfer admission after making Wycombe debut
Derby County defender Sonny Bradley said his loan move to Wycombe Wanderers capped off a "whirlwind" 24 hours but hopes to lead them to the Championship.
The centre-back made his bow for the League One promotion chasers last night as he completed 90 minutes in a 1-0 defeat against Huddersfield. Bradley has joined the club on loan until the end of the season when he will likely become a free agent when his current deal expires at Pride Park.
The former Luton captain played a key role in the back end of last season as Derby secured a return to the second tier, their first promotion in 17 years.

He hopes that his experience can help the Chairboys achieve their ambitions even though he has yet to train with the rest of the players.
"It was a bit of a whirlwind 24 hours," he admitted. "I got the call on Sunday night and the paperwork was done by 12 on Monday. I met the boys for the first time just a few hours before the game so clearly I've not had a chance to do anything on the training pitch.
"It's just one of them. The team were a little short in numbers so I had to come straight in to try to make an impact. It's easy to say that we were the better team and probably deserved more, but I know what this league is like.
"It's fine margins and one set piece has cost us. It's not even the first contact. It's a second ball, and we go down 1-0. In any league, if you go a goal down, then teams like Huddersfield are good enough to manage it. We couldn't get ourselves back into it, but I felt like it was a positive performance but moving forward I feel good and I feel positive."
Bradley struggled to dislodge the centre-back pairing of Curtis Nelson and Eiran Cashin last season, but when Derby moved to a back three, the 33-year-old helped make a difference as the Rams finished second behind title-winners Portsmouth.
He scored twice in a 3-0 win over Leyton Orient last April and said, "Last season, especially at Derby, I came into it more, especially at the back end, although I didn't necessarily start the season great there.
"But when it got tough at the back end, I was there, I had the experience, I knew what I was doing and I think I can do that again here. Firstly I want to get to the training ground and earn my respect from the players that way and show I am here to make a difference."
