South Wales gymnastics ace revels in national recognition
A precocious gymnast from south Wales has earned national recognition for embodying the best the sport has to offer.
Neath Afan Gymnastics' Mia Morgans has been nominated for Young Person of the Year at the British Gymnastics Awards 2025, in large part due to the youngster’s tireless drive and enthusiasm for all things gymnastics.
And with Mia's efforts having now led to national recognition, the Morgans clan voiced their immeasurable pride.

"At the age of nine it's been such a humbling recognition and one which will stay with her for life," said mum Amanda. "I couldn't be more proud."
Mia added: "I feel really happy and proud of myself. Gymnastics means everything to me and makes me feel at home."
