St Cuthbert Wanderers' temporary management team likely to be handed reigns for rest of season
Craig Rudd believes St Cuthbert Wanderers’ temporary management team will be handed the reigns for the rest of the season.
Rudd, Raymond Gordon and Ally McMillan took charge of first team affairs at the Kirkcudbright club in October following the departure of Paul Hilston.

And with the St Mary’s Park outfit only having a handful of South of Scotland League games left, it seems that situation could be extended.
Rudd said: “We only have five league games left so I think it will be the case where we’ll do it until the end of the season.
“We might have a lot of spells where we’re waiting on cups being drawn and there might be a lot of friendlies.
“I think they want to speak to us after the Christmas break and it may be on the cards they want us to do it to the end of the season and see what happens from there.”

They are due to return to action at home to Newton Stewart on January 4.
Rudd added: “The boys are all enjoying training, we’re getting good numbers. We’re putting in good performances every second week, we just need to turn that into getting a wee run of games together where we’re putting a performance in.”
