Stansfield, Bielik, Paik: Chris Davies gives bumper Birmingham City injury update
Chris Davies hopes to welcome Birmingham City’s top scorer Jay Stansfield back against his former club Exeter City on Saturday.
Stansfield has missed Blues’ last three matches due to injury but Davies confirmed the 22-year-old striker has returned to training. Skipper Krystian Bielik and Paik Seung-ho could also return, leaving Blues without Tomoki Iwata, Willum Willumsson, Keshi Anderson and Emil Hansson, plus long-term absentee Lee Buchanan.
Davies said: “Jay Stansfield has been training and should be available, Krystian Bielik is close, absolutely, Paik has had a little bit of an issue in the week but looks good, then there’s a few just behind that.”

Blues have a crucial away double-header coming up against promotion rivals Wrexham and Huddersfield. Davies would love to have Anderson – who was one of Blues’ most in-form players in December – back for them.
“Keshi’s very unlikely to be this weekend, possible for next week but we’ll see how he goes,” said Davies. “By the end of the month he will definitely be back and available.”
