Steve Clarke’s son in savage Rangers troll as he piles on misery with infamous Scotland boss one liner
Steve Clarke’s son has taken a dig at Rangers after they crashed out of the Scottish Cup - by echoing the Scotland manager's infamous 'bye-bye' quote.
It was a dismal day for Philippe Clement and his side as they fell to a humiliating defeat to the Championship side to all-but end their chances of lifting silverware. The Premier Sports Cup has already slipped through the grasp of Rangers following penalty shoot-out defeat to Celtic - with Brendan Rodgers' men holding a massive 13-point lead over their rivals at the top of the Premiership table.
The Europa League is now Rangers only shot at a trophy this term barring a massive collapse by Celtic in the title race - and Clarke Jr took to X to stick the boot in to the Glasgow heavyweights. During his time at Kilmarnock, Clarke would had a pop at Rangers supporters as he made an emotional farewell speech at Rugby Park.
Before stepping into the Hampden hot seat he secured European football for Killie. During a post-match speech after his final game in 2019 - a 2-1 win over the Light Blues - he would say: "But I'm telling you now as I stand here in front of three stands with Kilmarnock supporters, bye bye Rangers.
"And next season make sure it's bye bye Celtic as well because this is Kilmarnock." In the wake of the shock defeat, Clarke's son John would share a screengrab of the famous wave towards the away stand.
