Striker Hudlin staying at County after deal to extend loan for rest of season
STRIKER Kyle Hudlin will stay with Newport County AFC for the rest of the season after his loan from Huddersfield was extended.
The 24-year-old moved to Rodney Parade on deadline day in August, initially until January, after physical forward Hamzad Kargbo dislocated a shoulder on opening weekend.
The 6ft 9ins Hudlin, whose contract with the Terriers runs until 2026, has scored four goals in 20 appearances for the Exiles.
County will keep the West Midlander for the rest of the League Two campaign, with Luke Jephcott, fit-again Kargbo and Courtney Baker-Richardson their other options up front.
Huddersfield are fourth in League One and pushing for automatic promotion after being relegated last season.
