Successful pool team holding trials for new players
A successful youth pool team is looking for new players.
The Taunton Allstars are holding trials on Sunday, February 9, with registration starting at 11.30am and trials beginning at noon.
They are looking for players of all abilities to join their team.
Anyone who wants to trial for the team must have been under the age of 18 on Wednesday, January 1.
All matches will be played to international pool rules, but players do not need to know these rules to take part.

The team has been successful for many years, playing against other youth teams across the South West.
This includes matches against teams from Devon, Dorset and Cornwall.
At the end of the season, the top two teams qualify to play in the national finals against other county-wide teams.
Players who perform well at these finals are also then invited to England team trials.
Many players from the Taunton Allstars have gone on to be selected for the England team, including the current team captain.
A spokesman for the Taunton Allstars said: "We are really keen to push the youth team and appeal to people that wouldn't normally get to see our advertisements, as they've previously always been restricted to pool leagues and sadly that doesn't generate as much interest as you might think."
