Surprise absentee from squad as Eddie Howe selects Newcastle side to face Wolves
ALEXANDER ISAK has been passed fit to start Newcastle United's Premier League home game against Wolves.
However, Fabian Schar is a notable absentee from the squad at St James' Park because of an illness issue, with Sven Botman partnering Dan Burn at centre-half.
Schar returned from suspension in Sunday's FA Cup win over Bromley, but is not involved this evening as Botman returns to the squad.
Tino Livramento and Lewis Hall both return to the starting side after dropping out at the weekend.
Eddie Howe has returned to his usual midfield three, with Sandro Tonali set to play behind Bruno Guimaraes and Joelinton.
Jacob Murphy and Anthony Gordon fill the wide positions, with Isak having been passed fit to start as the central striker after recovering from the knock he picked up in the latter stages of the Carabao Cup semi-final first-leg win at Arsenal.
