The 25-year-old becomes Luke Williams' first signing of the January window - and fans will hope it won't be the last one, either.

“I like to have a lot of the ball. I looked at the data and Swansea have a lot of possession. I like to build up from the back, and I think Swansea fits my style of play.

“I think I’m always comfortable on the ball, I like to cover the spaces of full-backs, and I hope everyone will see me play and see what my qualities are.

“I am very excited to be here, it happened at short notice but I am happy. I just want to help the team as much as I can.”
