Swansea City announce signing of Nottingham Forest's Lewis O'Brien
Swansea City have completed a deadline day loan move for Nottingham Forest midfielder Lewis O'Brien.
The 26-year-old, who enjoyed a brief loan spell at Los Angeles FC in MLS earlier in the season, has become Swansea's second signing of the January window, with the Swans understood to have beaten a host of clubs to his signature.
A number of sides in the Championship, as well as in MLS, had taken an interest, while Valencia and Besiktas were among the European sides to have also been keeping tabs. Sign up to our Swansea City newsletter here.

O'Brien's arrival follows on from the the capture of Burnley's Hannes Delcroix, who joined on loan earlier in the window.
The Swans are still hopeful of completing a couple more before the close of play, and are pushing to complete a loan move for Red Bull Salzburg's Bobby Clark.
The club also remain hopeful of completing a loan deal for Manchester City youngster Jacob Wright, having agreed a deal to take him on loan for the rest of the season with an obligation to buy in the summer.
However, they are yet to receive the green light from the player's representatives and, at the time of writing, it appears terms are yet to be agreed, with reports elsewhere claiming the deal is now looking unlikely.
The Swans have also made a move for Ethan Galbraith, but have seen a bid of around £750,000 batted away by Leyton Orient on the final day of the window.
